After your jawline filler treatment at The Clinic, you can resume your daily activities almost immediately. However, there are certain activities you should avoid and common symptoms that may cause mild discomfort.
Typically, these symptoms should gradually subside over the next few days to weeks. However, if they become more severe or do not improve, please contact the clinic for assistance. You should be able to see the final results of the treatment fully after around four weeks. If further treatments are necessary to achieve the desired result, our team can discuss this with you at that time.
For the first six hours after treatment, you should avoid touching the treated area. Additionally, we recommend refraining from using makeup for a day or so after treatment and only using water and a gentle cleanser to clean your skin for a few days. To aid in the healing process, you should avoid alcohol, strenuous exercise, and chemical exfoliants such as AHAs and retinols for 24 hours post-treatment.
Furthermore, we strongly advise against exposing the treated area to intense heat, such as saunas and steam rooms, and avoiding chemical peels, facial waxing, IPL treatments, or facials like microdermabrasion for approximately two weeks after treatment. If you experience any discomfort post-treatment, mild painkillers like paracetamol can be taken to alleviate the discomfort. However, blood-thinning drugs like ibuprofen and aspirin should be avoided, as they can lead to further bruising and delay the recovery process.
